Because traumatic stress comes in all shapes and colors, it’s important to have a coach that not only has the vast knowledge and expertise but has traveled the path as well.

As we learn more about the effects that chronic and cumulative stress has on the body, heart and brain, we have come to understand the devastating effects that this chronic and traumatic stress has on our sensitive nervous systems. With chronic and traumatic stress, comes a cascade of stress hormones, ravaging our bodies, wreaking havoc on our health and wellness. Affecting us; physically, mentally, emotionally, relationally, and spiritually.

Especially for those of us that are first responders and veterans, who live our lives in this chronic and cumulative traumatic stress state of survival, oftentimes 24/7/365. Not realizing the toll this is taking on our lives, oftentimes, until it's too late. Yet, we always have options and choices in how we respond to this stress, and most importantly, how we prioritize self-care.

Having a coach, such as myself, who truly understands the impacts of traumatic stress and grief, is essential to feeling safe and building trust. I know what it feels like, to be ravaged by the effects of trauma and grief, and I know what it takes to heal. Based on my personal journey through complex post-traumatic stress and complicated grief, has allowed me the opportunity to relate to others, who are dealing with their own trauma and grief. Whether a first responder, a veteran, or anyone dealing with these issues, I am here for you. I get it! I see YOU, I hear YOU and we can be BRAVE together.
