Research shows that chronic stress oftentimes becomes stored in the somatic body, resulting in tension, chronic pain, health and emotional issues along with disease. Through experiential wisdom, this program invites you to tune into the unique wisdom of your body and nervous system, using different modalities to better allow us to navigate pain and discomfort.

Providing tools anchored in mindfulness, polyvagal theory, and therapeutic somatic movement allows us the opportunity to listen to what our nervous system is asking of us. Using gentle movement, breath and mindful awareness, we become present with all that is happening within us. Our nervous systems are always telling us what it needs, if only we have the courage to listen.

I invite you to join me in this exploration of your nervous system, regardless of where you are in your health journey; always holding safe space and meeting you exactly where you are..

I tried so many different programs, of which, some were helpful, while others retraumatized me. Yet, I found that doing somatic (body-based) work was a key to healing my injured and overwhelmed nervous system. I’ve taken different aspects from a collection of somatic healing modalities, combining them to find a very gentle, yet healing practice. I combine mindfulness, trauma-sensitive yoga, stretching, breathwork, tai chi, emotional freedom technique, visualization, and wisdom healing qigong, to provide a genuine practice to calm your nervous system. One of the key attributes of the program is to help you learn how to better listen and tune into the unique language of your body and nervous system. The poses are gentle, the practices simple and the results are profound! I’ve found this practice to be especially helpful to those dealing with extreme traumatic stress and grief, such as first responders and veterans, yet, it has worked wonders for my audiences of all ages and all levels. I teach 60–75-minute classes, called Stretch-Out-Stress, either in-person or via zoom, allowing my clients the opportunity to learn these practices at their own pace, specific to their personal needs and capabilities. I also teach one-on-one, through appointment, via zoom or in-person.
